Great price for bunch of different quizzes. We played it as a family and it was super fun. The first two are very easy if you are a HP fan, but they get more challenging. Definitely a great product and price!
My neighbor is turning 9, so I got this for his birthday. The book is fairly slim so perfect for his age. I'm sure he will enjoy it, to go with a couple of HP items as a gift. My kids looked through it and said it is very good, accurate and should be fun. I think they enjoyed previewing it, even at their age! Price was reasonable, as well

it was in good condition, if you taking hilt at uc davis by any chance, this book helps a lot in the beginning. but its probably best to get a used version because I didn't use much after the class

Haven't had the chance to work on any problems yet, but was thrilled when the book came way earlier than I expected it to. This came highly recommended by several bicohem professors, so looking forward to doing problems!
As a biochemistry teacher, I find that a large number of our students are defficient in their quantitative skills. This is because many of them are biology majors, who do not have the best math background. This relatively inexpensive volume bridges the math gap for these students. It also provides the teacher with tools that increase his efficiency in dealing with the problem, without taking too much time away from the materials in the course syllabus. Although it is an older book, there is no modern replacement for what it does.

I Wish I loved this book. It held so much promise, but honestly,.a teen who colors will enjoy it more then me The art has an urban feel to it,.and I'm more of a color pretty flowers.sort of girl. Sorry Souros, I don t think I'm your intended target. There are some pics. I'll do,.but not many.
I'm a 16 year old with a very artistic and creative mind and I went searching for a coloring book to not only color, but to provide me with inspiration for my own artwork. The cover for this book is what grabbed my attention. It looks like EXACTLY what I like to doodle and observe. The sample of this book on Amazon only had a few pictures to judge, but the reviews promised a book full of beautiful artwork to improve upon with color.When I got the book, I excitedly opened it up and soaked in all the beautiful artwork.Now some of the art in this book is too good to color than I tore it out and hung it on my wall, while some other pieces are too complicated to color without fine tip art products. And of course, if you've read other reviews, there are two pages of just black ink. But the rest of the book is perfect for coloring and really lets you add your own touch to other artist's work.The book is amazing and creative and a very good idea, if there was ever another collection of works like these I would by the book in a heartbeat.
This totally unique coloring book has line drawings of everyone from Keith Haring to Brian Rea. It's a great idea, fabulous, even, to use the line drawings of famous artists, musicians, designers, etc. to create yet another coloring book for adults. My main problem was that, to my apparently unsophisticated eye, a lot of these I reacted with a "Huh?" I could't see how one could color them in the traditional sense. Some were abstract, or left very little "white space" for one to fill in with anything. Now, for those TRULY wanting to color outside the lines, perhaps CREATE their own lines within each drawing, then it's for you. Knock yourself out. It has an almost hip post-modern anime feel to it, which is cool, but it does challenge the garden variety coloring book expectations. I think I was looking for more..."form" within which to color. Not that I can only do Dick and Jane style drawings, but I wanted more...realistic images, I guess. But that's just personal taste. This may be just the ticket for you. See if you can take a look inside the book for more examples before buying, would be my suggestion.
I bought this for myself. I am college aged and I like coloring to relieve stress. This book is full of cool, unique designs, and even has some pages that you can add your own detail to. Kids love using this book too. It's fun for the whole family!Update: It's kinda boring, and there are a bunch of pages that I don't even see the point of coloring, and theres one page that's solid black. The designs are VERY different, as they're all by different artists. I just wasn't that impressed. Some designs just made no sense and were already shaded in greyscale, so there was nothing to color. It's not my favorite, but if you're artistic, you might have fun tweaking the designs or adding your own details.
This is a neat coloring book! Every drawing to color is by a different artist and includes a healthy mix of unknown and known artists' works. I recall specifically a Keith Haring that was fun to color. The difficulty level on these pages ranges from very simply to intricate. I like the mix- I have ADHD and have a tendency to color one part of one drawing, get bored, and start a new one- this book offers drawings of different complexity levels and I appreciate that. One star off because some of these drawings aren't really the most suited for coloring- for example, there are some street artist works that were included that are someone's "tag", graffiti style.
Very original and current artwork shared by real artists. Not pretty illustrations with no thought or originality. I read some reviews from people fussing about the black pages: I had a great time with my white and light colored pencils creating a picture on it. If you are not creative yourself and not a fan of current art trends; well , skip it. Or open your mind a bit. Art is any expression of your vision of the world and it does not have to be any particular style!
I bought this for my 12 year old cousin who loved an "outside the box" coloring book I got her little sister, but to whom I wanted to give something a little more grown up. Many gorgeous illustrations of many different styles. Something for everyone. The cover and paper seem to be very high quality. There is also only one picture on a page with nothing on the back but the artist and other information, making coloring with markers a great option.. I'm thinking about getting one for myself as well. However, I felt the need to remove 2 of the pages for concerns my aunt wouldn't find them appropriate for her preteen. I don't support censorship but 2 of them were very dark and I would suggest you look through the pages before gifting it to a young person, particularly someone else's child. Otherwise, it's a really cool and good quality coloring book, especially for lovers of contemporary art. I was so pleased to see pieces by Keith haring and other loved artists I recognized. A great mix of thoughtful and whimsical art for any type of coloring mood you are in. Much more interesting than a book by just one artist.
This book came on time and packaged perfectly in a cardboard box. There are tons of images to color and I love it. Very unique book. If I had to compare it to another coloring book out there, I would say it's similar to Doodlers Anonymous. This book is printed single sided on bright white paper. I would say that it's regular weight copy paper, nothing fancy, so if markers are your medium of choice, I recommend putting a few pieces of paper underneath. Overall, awesome book and I can't wait to get the second one!

Oh man! Mystery, supernatural, alternate history, and a touch of steamfunk – this tale of murder and the supernatural is simply amazing! The division of the US is a great concept and woven into the tale. No info dumps here! Strange murders bring paranormal detective Mona Livelong into a wild tale of murder and mayhem with tidbits of traditional African and southern supernatural traditions leading to a compelling end.Note: there's some sex in the story, I'd put it into the New Adult range (you all know I hate romance and erotica) and not explicit (thank goodness!). A little more detailed than "they kissed," but then they wake in the morning without all the sticky details, LOL!I highly recommend this story and am adding the next books – yes, there's more! – to my wish list!! I read this entire story in one sitting. So much for going to bed early!

Aided by her on again off again lover and possibly the coolest, hippest ghost in the spirit world, Mona attempts to track down a killer, while uncovering a dangerous conspiracy.The world of Mona Livelong is colorfully laid out in vivid detail. The overall background is replete with steam powered machines, nifty clockwork gadgetry, and stunning fashion reminiscent of the late 19th century. The events in the story occur in the 1970s. The United States is split into two nations, one a ardently white supremacist regime, the other, striving for racial equality, but burdened by persistent, customary racism. The alternate geo-political context plays every bit as crucial a role in this novel as the demons, monsters, gods and goddesses that populate its pages.Mona Livelong is smart, skilled and courageous. She's also a warrior who's not intimidated by the evil she confronts or the danger intrinsic to her job. This book is a truly enjoyable read, bearing the titillating promise of a sequel...better yet, a series.
A fascinating mix of steamfunk, alternate history, and supernatural horror. The world Valjeanne Jeffers has created in this novel is complex and intriguing, but the focus here is on the story, which kept me turning pages late into the night. Mona Livelong is a worthy addition to the tradition of occult detective literature. I'm looking forward to reading the next novel in this series, and I hope there will be a third.
This book literally had me at the edge of my seat. I have the bruises on my butt cheeks when I hit the floor as proof. Valjeanne Jeffers beautifully crafted several different scenarios together creating a fantastic story and a wonderful character in Mona Livelong. On top of that, Jeffers had woven a romance into the story that felt believable.Mona Livelong is now one of my favorite fictional characters. Can't wait until I can get my hands on Mona Livelong 2
Enjoyable and inventive, this story has the kind of unique setting that is a treat to me. I've read a lot of murder mysteries and enjoefhe mix of genres.
