Currently, I’m in the process of buying two industrial buildings strictly for investment purposes, and decided I should find out what I didn’t know.This book is fantastic, if not a bit overwhelming at first (I felt a little bit like, “holy crap, I’m supposed to do all that?!?). It’s super short, though, and all gold. Read it, get started, read it again, make some progress, then read it again, see what you’ve still missed.The listing agent on my current transaction thinks I’m a longtime pro real estate investor because of the thoroughness of my due diligence. Actually, though, it’s my first time doing it plus this book.It would be dumb not to buy this book. Do you want to be dumb?

I highly respect Mr. Hennesey's efforts in writing this book. It's clear cut and spares us the bs. If you are looking for a book on strictly what to do in a Commercial transaction, then this book is for you. The author provides insight beyond the basic obvious ways on how to really look into a commercial property. I highly recommend this book if you want to protect yourself with proper knowledge.

Best Real Estate Due Diligence book I've ever read.We have done over 50 fix and flips in the last year. We also have lent on over 100 homes and small buildings in the last 2 years.and have started to buy small multi family buildings, where the due diligence is a bit more intense,the margin for error much tighter, and the dollar amounts much greater. We are using his Checklist internally for acquisition, due diligence, and lender comparables.Our first deal, just using his system saved us TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars. Took me about 2 hours to read the book and its completely filled with underlines, stars and highlights. Thanks Brian for the great pointers and my advice is this book is worth its weight in real estate gold, especially for those looking to move upstream.

I originally bought the audiobook from Audible, and it was so full of gold nuggets that I bought the hard copy as well just to keep a quick reference, and went through the whole thing again. The author covers many details that I know to be true, but are easy to neglect because you simply don't know what you don't know. So many items in this book will help prepare any buyer for that inevitable situation when the building or fire inspectors come knocking on your door about one deficiency or another, or asking for permits which uncover the problem during a professional site review... but more importantly, how to dig out all of the hidden costs associated with a commercial property that could have a dramatic effect on the bottom line.Outside of the checklists common to most commercial real estate, the author goes on to itemize issues related specifically to multi-family, industrial, and retail property.The book is also very concise, only gold, no fluff. I cannot recommend it enough.

As a Realtor working in a residential brokerage, this book has answered so many questions that I had in regards to commercial real estate that no one had time to answer. It tackles all the key points and provides examples for an even better understanding. Book starts at page 7 and ends at page 102. Followed by 4 exhibits and additional resources. Short and sweet.

The book's content is concise and very fine. As a developer and investor with over 3 million square feet of built projects, I found it very accurate and I'm sure I will be going back to it when new deals come. Mr. Hennessey's "manual" is just too short to be called a book.

I feel like the book was ok as far as it went but really did not go in any depth in any of the issues discussed. I can't say I learned much of anything from the book since the information was so basic. There were many plugs for the author's video series which presumably go into more detail on the issues discussed. Perhaps that series does a better job of covering the due diligence items discussed. Overall, this was a disappointing book.

While formal gardens are not currently en vogue, for those of us who love them anyway, Roy Strong illustrates numerous patterned beds that could be applied to any size space and to any style preference. The hard part is choosing. I have tried to get this book for a couple of years at a price that I could afford, and I was thrilled to finally find one on Amazon. It was worth the wait.

If you love the look and symmetry of formal gardens, you will enjoy this book. It has beautiful pictures of small formal garden elements, and also some plans to help create your own.

This is an excellent how to for formal gardens. It has a good balance of well done pictures, text and diagrams. Whether you are trying to create a simple herb garden or large complicated parterres and mazes, this book breaks it down without dumbing it down.The photos and text cover semi-formal styles, like English border gardens, cottage gardens and small backyard spaces. There are good images of knot gardens done in different types of plants and on different scales. There are a number of rose garden styles and herb garden styles. It also covers adding water features, like reflecting pools and ponds into a formal setting. Additionally it has shrub gardens and how to sculpt them.There is a good chapter of illustrated diagrams. It has 18 basic layouts. Each one with relatively detailed instructions on how to create the desired effect. Including suggestion on how to layer the plantings for visual effect. How to mow the lawn to achieve patterns. Suggestions of brick walkway designs. Alternative hedge trimming patterns. And what plants to use. It also suggests what the annual maintenance is for each different style of garden. Which gives you a great idea of what you're getting yourself into!After the layouts there is an index of recommended deciduous shrubs and trees, evergreen shrubs and trees, fruiting and flowering trees, foliage plants, etc....it gives zones and light requirements. And it indicates what each plant would be best suited to. Plant names are all in Latin. The index isn't extensive, it only covers 4 pages, but it does give easily attainable plants.The last pages of the book give illustrations of shaping hedges (with clever ways of keeping them perfectly flat), laying out a perfect knot garden, creating different topiaries, and how to espalier fruit trees.I love this book, and use it often to show my customers different ideas for their spaces.

At first I thought this book would be too sophisticated for a non-professional such as myself - I was wrong! There are many great ideas which I plan to use this summer in my own garden. The author illustrates many garden plans, I have decided to borrow plans from several of them. He also explains tips on how to use symmetry, how to create illusions using height and space, etc. He also explains the history of formal gardens which I found interesting. Another useful feature of this book is the listing of suggested plants for formal gardens and their light requirements. This is the first book I have ever ordered which I picked up and read immediately.

Beautiful pictures and easy read an amazing book with great plans and ideas for any size space sir Roy Strong is a genius.

I have given Evan Skolnick’s “Video Game Storytelling” four stars, because while he definitely has something to say about video game development, he has some serious conceptual deficiencies concerning the structure of storytelling in novels, movies and plays. It’s actually a pretty darn good book, even cool in parts. It has its flaws, but when you compare it to others out there, it definitely holds its own.Before I go any further, I should to let you know where I’m coming from. I have been playing games for decades, both board games and computer games. I’m not one to spend all my time gaming, but I have spent months trying to get to the end of a computer game. “Riven,” the second of the “Myst” series, comes to mind. Also “BioShock.” I am not a game developer. I am an author. I write fiction, screenplays and non-fiction, but mostly novels and books on how to write novels. I have written on storytelling as a subject independent of genre.So I’m an author and a gamer, while Evan Skolnick is a gamer and has been a game developer for decades. He gives seminars at the annual Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Game creators struggle with how to integrate narrative storytelling into the action of a game so that it provides a richer and more complete experience for the player. Skolnick wrote this book to help developers more fully understand the art of narrative storytelling in video games. I read his book not to critique it but to learn something about storytelling in games. And it taught me quite a lot. I was not disappointed. The book’s subtitle is “What every Developer Needs to Know About Narrative Techniques.” This is the heart of the matter: how to integrate games and storytelling.The book is divided into two parts, the first titled “Basic Training” is more about storytelling elements themselves: conflict, structure, character and arcs, etc. These are the elements of storytelling as applied to game creation. The second part is titled “In the Trenches.” Here Skolnick gets down to describing the mechanics of actual game development, including the composition and function of the team, all the while paying particular attention to how the story comes together as the game progresses, and how each element of the team makes that happen. This is great stuff.But here come my quibbles. The good news is that Skolnick fully understands that the engine that drives any story is conflict. Without conflict, you have no story. Hollywood screenwriters understand this better than do novelists, but game creators revel in open unabashed conflict, sometimes to its detriment. The problem comes in Chapter 2 when Skolnick discusses “The Three-Act Structure,” (page 15) which was first identified by Aristotle. Skolnick interprets the first plot point as the beginning of confrontation, i.e., the beginning of the conflict. Here’s how he describes the first act:“The audiences of other story-based media — novels, movies, comic books, and plays — come into the experience with a certain degree of patience. They’re willing to spend some time up front getting familiar with the world and characters before the main conflict is introduced and the story really gets going.” [page 21]This just quite simply is not true. Skolnick goes on:“While traditional story audiences regularly tolerate 25 percent or more of the total story time being devoted to initial setup…” [page 21]How he could be so wrong about this and it could escape the attention of his editors is beyond me. In traditional story structure, the conflict is locked as soon as possible, very close to the beginning. The first plot point is when the central conflict takes off in a new direction, perhaps a dramatic escalation or an expansion of the scope of the conflict. So the central conflict is actually locked at the beginning of Act I and is dramatically escalated at the beginning of Act II. No one would wait until 1/4 of the way through the story to start the confrontation. Here’s the opening on E.B. White’s “Charlotte’s Webb,” a children’s book:"Where's Papa going with that ax?" said Fern to her mother as they were setting the table for breakfast."Out to the hoghouse," replied Mrs. Arable. "Some pigs were born last night."Fern is out the door in a flash to stop her papa, and the story is off at a dead run. Furthermore, in the opening three pages of Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code,” an albino murders the curator of the Louvre Museum in Paris locking the conflict that unfolds at a break-neck pace that is only resolved at the end. I realize that not all novels are structured this way, but neither are all video games. And as for movies, here’s what Irwin R. Blacker says in his book, “The Elements of Screenwriting”:“Conflict is the essence of narrative film. In the opening minutes of a film, two or more forces come into opposition. In film terms, the conflict is ‘locked’ as quickly as possible. So urgent is the need to lock the conflict that many films do so in the tease before the title and credits.” [page 7]Skolnick has not done his homework on narrative storytelling.Whatever Skolnick’s misconceptions about plot point 1, he fully understands plot point 2, which occurs 3/4 of the way through the story. Here’s what he says about it:“Plot Point 2 separates Acts II and III, and is sometimes a bit fuzzier. Generally it’s the moment in which the Hero, battered by the effort of already overcoming so many challenging obstacles, finally sees the path to victory. She hasn’t achieved it yet, and the outcome could still go either way, but the Hero has had some kind of epiphany and at last knows what she needs to do — if she can only pull it off!” [page 16]This is a profound statement about plot point 2, and this paragraph alone makes the book worth reading. To his credit, Skolnick also understands the biggest problem with the three-act structure: mid-story sag. Here is his comment on the subject and his solution:“Act II is usually about twice the length of either of the other acts — it’s big! So big, in fact, that it sometimes gets hard to handle when it comes to structure, planning, and pacing. A writer can start wandering in Act II and lose momentum quite easily. Because of this, many writing gurus split Act II into halves, separated by a Midpoint — the halfway point not only of the act, but also of the overall story — at which time things will often spin in a new direction.” [page 14]This is extraordinarily insightful, and you can see this midpoint as a “reversal of action” in many movies. For example, in “Jaws” the shark hunts the people for the first half of the movie, and the people hunt the shark in the second half. In Cameron’s “Titanic,” the ship floats in the first half, hits the iceberg in the midpoint and sinks during the second half. Many novelists and movie makers don’t have this insight, but Skolnick nails it.My other problem with Skolnick’s discussion in Chapter 2 is that he seems to believe that the protagonist (generally the player of the game) is always there to resolve a conflict that was locked long before the player arrived. Granted, many stories are of this nature. “Star Wars” is one. “Riven” is another. Even “BioShock” fits that format. But what Skolnick is suggesting is that it’s always the same setup. This may be true of current video game development, but it doesn’t have to be that way in the future. The conflict doesn’t have to have a backstory. The relationship between the protagonist and the antagonist can be simpatico at first but rapidly deteriorate into a prolonged conflict. All authors know this. I’m not sure why the gaming community would have such a narrow view of the central conflict.Skolnick focuses on what storytellers from other disciplines (novel writing, screenwriting, playwrighting) can tell game developers, but it’s also obvious that game developers have a lot to offer authors. What I’m thinking of has to do with environments and how they can help tell the story, particularly the backstory. It isn’t something that authors don’t already know, but the degree to which game developers concentrate on letting the environment tell part of the story really is an eyeopener. After all, game developers can’t get away with sketching a few images of a setting. They have to present it in all its glory as continuous visual images from many different angles. They expect the player to spend time roaming the landscape viewing the scenery and perhaps solving a puzzle or two. The environment must be interactive. An author can get away with only describing the salient features of a character’s appearance, but a game developer has to show the complete character, plus the way the characters move. This is pure choreography.I could write a book about this book. It’s that interesting. As I’ve already stated, it isn’t perfect, but it goes a long ways down the road to explaining narrative technique in video game storytelling. A lot of people could benefit from reading it, and they aren’t all game developers.

I was fascinated by Evan's writing workshop at GDC. So after taking it I decided to read the book.I'm glad I did.As an indie game developer I wear many hats, and one Evan has helped me to see more clearly is that I'm Chief Narrative Officer.This book achieves it's stated goal: to provide a quick firm foundation of storytelling principles so game developers can appreciate the actions they take which help or hinder story.I have read books on character design, screenplay writing, and how to write fiction. Yet remarkably this smaller, more precise book was more useful.

I enjoyed this perspective on writing. I'm not a video game writer, but it's got useful info for anyone looking to write believable characters and improve the "hook" of their stories. The other thing I especially enjoyed, aside from the video game references, was the down to earth tone. A lot of writing advice books have this condescending voice that just grinds on me, but this book stayed light and informative without preaching at me.

I bought Evan's book after watching a GDC writer's conference on YouTube a few weeks ago. He recommended aspiring writers, like myself, to read it and discover what truly goes into modern game narratives. Let me tell you this - its SO worth it. Fantastic read! The first book I've read on game writing. It explains some basic principle storytelling techniques, like character development, making the story believable, understanding the three act structure, of which I've read about before, and much more. Then he goes into the techincal aspects. How to tel a story, say, via a games' environment? How to design levels that work in conjunction with the narrative. How crafting AI systems into making characters, both good and bad, believable yet fun. How valuable communication is with team members. All sorts of stuff like that.Please, do yourself a favor and buy this. Even if you already have a firm grip on the three act structure, or how to write good dialogue, its worth taking the time to read.

I have been enjoying this book so far. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but it's been very on point so far, and fairly practical as well. If you come from a traditional writing background, it may break some rules, but for video game writing it is pretty on the nose. I got the digital copy so I'd have it with me on my kindle and phone, but I like it well enough to consider getting a hard copy for my home library.

This book gives a great perspective of video game development from the narrative perspective and encourages a level of teamwork that any project would hope for. But in this case, it is quite specific about the relationship between the roles and why going back to the narrative is so important.I was looking for books that discussed the narrative aspects of gaming for my research on #VoiceGameDev. This is exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend it to anyone creating a voice based game as well as the video gaming it speaks to. Although some roles would be different, I imagine the same level of collaboration and respect with the narrative creators will be even more important.

I really liked the second part of the book, I gives lots of insight from a professional who knows how production pipelines work, and the influence good writing has on the end result.From my perspective, the first part of the book is a oversimplification on scriptwriting that might be misleading.

I am reading this book to help me with marketing and storytelling for business.Combine this book with, "All Marketers are Liars" (Deceptive title) and anything from Abraham Hicks and you should be set for telling incredibly moral, ethical, and authentic stories for your audience.

As a strongly conservative person, I was ready to delve into this book anticipating a strong liberal bias that would label me a bigot. I was ready to feel outraged as yet another person would, in print no less, tell me how I just don’t understand what is going on with regards to the immigration issue. While I know that I can’t fully understand Jose’s plight, I can surely empathize and sympathize with him and for him. It was a relief to me to be surprised by Francisco Cantu’s book.I lived in the Rio Grande Valley for 47 years and have seen firsthand the complexities involved in this issue. My brother was killed when a group of Mexican teenagers and their polleros were evading the police. The car they were in T-boned my brothers car at an intersection and cut him in two.A very good friend of mine, Hispanic as well, is a Border patrol agent. He qualified himself to work on the Rio Grande River in boats, on ATV out in the field and has also worked at the US Border Patrol sector headquarters. We spoke often, way before this book, about the things he has seen and done throughout his years as a CBP agent. How they are always being watched by lookouts from the south side of the river as they patrol the US side. He described the smell of decomposing bodies left behind in the brush land, or finding people under the full effect of heat stroke. He has told me about the taunts they receive as the polleros just escape back across the river. Cantu’s book reminded me a lot of my friend’s recollections. It also help me understand a little more of why he won’t speak too much about his feelings. I sense he is empathetic towards those he has stopped and believe he has genuine sympathy for them, but he also insists that what he is doing needs to be continued. He feels that even if stopping 1000 crossers only yields a few really dangerous people, he has improved life for His family on the US side.Living in Dallas for 3 1/2 years now, I have seen how much of it is being built by undocumented people. I know people, who like Jose stay under the radar by working and going home, day after day, and strive to live in peace. Some of them submitting themselves to unjust treatment because it is a better alternative than going back to their home country. I have been surprised at this treatment because it comes, many times, at the hands of Latinos who are fortunate enough to have legal status.This issue is very complex, and it angers me when people and politicians distill it down to platitudes. This has been done for far too long by people on every side of the argument. Usually, it has been done for personal gain and without any real knowledge of what it is like to live in an area affected by this, or any real knowledge of the people living through this.Thank you Mr. Cantu for writing this book, I wept through many sections and it has given me some resolve to help where I can. If anyone has strong feelings on either side of the immigration and citizenship problems of the US, I urge you to add this book to your references on the subject.

I picked up this book because the subject is topical and my local news suggested it contained some politically controversial material. The only thing that makes this book controversial is the presently vocal anti-immigrant hysteria of the American political Right. If the book had come out two years ago, no one would be declaring it controversial.An autobiographical story told in first person and covering a roughly 10 year period from the author's college graduation with a political science degree through and beyond his four year stint in the U.S. border patrol serving the south western United States. The author, being of Mexican heritage and raised in the South West, was drawn to the international border between the U.S. and Mexico, joining the border patrol to, as he put it, bring the theory he studied down to earth.There are a few flash backs to his earlier life, and some history of the border region, the 1860s war with Mexico that added the South West territories, Texas, and the southern half of California to the U.S. map, and also the impact of the Mexican Revolution of 1911. Much of the emotional conflict is revealed through dreams he had while serving on the border and later as his life never let him forget what he experienced.This is the story of a compassionate man in an in-compassionate job. He relates incidences of drug seizures, but notes that most of what he had to do was capture and return to Mexico people who wanted nothing more than to do some honest work and in many cases reunite with wives and in particular children born in the U.S. and so citizens. Many of these people die trying. Unlike a generation back, when crossing the border was relatively easy whether for work or criminal activity, it is now much more difficult and only the criminals have the resources to assure themselves of making the trip alive. The rest take their chances and thousands do not make it. The cruelty of criminal groups escorting migrants is on full display. People who cannot keep up in the many miles long trek across stony and water-less desert are simply left behind to die. The border patrol itself is complicit in some of these deaths destroying water and food, meant to sustain these people, where ever they find it.After four years the author cannot take more and quits the border patrol. The remainder of the book relates a friendship he develops with an undocumented Mexican immigrant who becomes trapped in the system, torn from his wife and children simply because he returns to Mexico to be with his dying mother and bury her. From there, he cannot get back and every attempt to do so traps him deeper and deeper in a system that cares nothing for compassionate people.This book is not political. Cantu avoids even mentioning much of politics, but merely reports what he experiences of an indifferent system and those trapped by it. He is most surely not opposed to interdicting drugs and deporting real criminals, but the vast majority of the migrant people involved are neither drug runners or criminals, but only criminalized by their desire to work and share a life with their spouses and children. If you are a compassionate person the book might bring you to tears. It is an honest report of the impact of an impersonal system on the lives of thousands of individuals who want nothing more than a life for themselves and their families. The political is mostly notable for its absence as the author tries, likely in vain for these times, to personalize these stories. There is nothing more controversial about it than that.

Francisco Cantu has a very interesting story to tell. Descended from Mexican immigrants, his family and the traditions associated with extended kinship are a central prism through which his story unfolds. A story that encompasses the two sides of the border, the people who cross the border searching for the american dream, and the people whose job it is to apply the law in order to secure that border. As a Border Patrol agent he is in the front line of this saga, witnessing firsthand the desperation and determination of the migrants who risk everything for a better way of life. The exploitation that they suffer at the hands of the smugglers who view them as just an income stream, and the inhumanity of the judicial system that only recognizes them as illegal aliens, committing a federal offense.However, once they cross, the migrants are the epitome of the hard working immigrants making good in their adopted country, having to suffer the perennial stigma of being undocumented, with all the trials and tribulations that come with that condition.Cantu does not offer any policy solutions, rather he just tells the stories of the people that are players in this drama. This is the strength of the book.

Fascinating read. The first chapter, I hated him because the situation at the border was so sad, but then I grew to like him. I was so engrossed that I read it fast. He mixes the facts and his life as a border patrol agent with beautiful descriptions of the states he worked in, the people he worked with and the life he lived. He's a great author and I would read more. I'm online now looking for more books on the border, as my interest is piqued!

Rebirth is definitely a comic for hardcore DC fans and casual fans will likely be completely lost. We find out that Batman learned that there are THREE Jokers from "the chair". Huh? You'd have to have read Darkseid War to get that reference, the chair being Metron's Mobius Chair. You'd have to have read Flashpoint (a rather poorly received crossover) to understand why Wally West disappeared. There is an interrogation of a woman that I ASSUME is Saturn Girl but I have no idea how it ties into anything else. A woman who, I assume is Pandora, gets blasted to oblivion by some unknown killer but you'd have to read Trinity War to recognize her. Superman is apparently dead (which would probably shock most casual fans) yet Clark Kent appears to be still alive. You'd have to have read 'The Final Days of Superman' to get that.A lot of sections are clearly lead ins to other books and are just thrown in haphazardly. We discover that the Atom is trapped in the atomic world and needs Ryan Choi to find him and prevent universal destruction. Dr. Fate approaches Ted Kord concerned about the power of the scarab. Some glimpses are just a couple of panels long. There is a female Green Lantern with a glowing lantern tattoo over her eye asking, 'who's Sinestro?' The point is that Wally West, who was removed from continuity after Flashpoint, has somehow tapped into the DCU and recognizes that it wasn't Barry Allen saving the life of his mother that caused reality to change. It was an external force more powerful than Darkseid and now Wally is just kind of travelling around, disembodied, observing the new changes caused by the Rebirth.I can't put myself into the mind of a casual DC reader. Personally, I like mystery and I like comics that sometimes require additional research. The reason I'm knocking off a star is because there really isn't a story here, just teasers. This is a really weird reboot since the new 52 continuity, for the most part, will continue with some slight tweaking. I'm also confused as to how the pre-Flashpoint Superman continued to exist and the original Wally West has returned. Rebirth also makes it clear that both pre and post-Flashpoint Wally West's exist at the same time which seems really messy for a company trying to clean things up.Rebirth has almost uniformly fantastic artwork with just a few dud frames. I really enjoyed the additional artwork in the back of the book. The highlight of the book is the reuniting of Barry Allen and Wally West and some consider this the most powerful moment in comics for 2016. The force behind Flashpoint and Rebirth has been revealed but as yet I've seen nothing scheduled to continue this story line. Hopefully all of the questions about characters from different continuities colliding will be answered. I also pray that DC doesn't screw up the usage of Alan Moore's Watchmen.

Great quality book. The pages that are used in this book are some of the thickest I've seen in a graphic novel. There's no dust jacket (which some people prefer) and this is a larger book. Many of you probably own the hardcover Killing Joke book, you might have noticed the book's a little taller than your usual hardcopy trade. The Rebirth book is the same size, so the pages are slightly larger for a bit more art.Something to note in case you're not the type to read the description of an item before you buy it: THIS IS JUST THE 80 PAGE COMIC THAT LAUNCHED THE REBIRTH SERIES. THIS CAME OUT IN THE SUMMER IN A NORMAL SINGLE ISSUE COMIC FOR $4.99. YOU ARE PAYING THE $8 EXTRA FOR THE DELUXE HARDCOVER EDITION. This is for collectors, not for those that just want to read it and toss it. Just get the Kindle version for a few bucks if you just want to read it. Don't be upset and give a one star rating just because you expected more than the 80 page comic that came out over the summer. Rebirth has been great so far, can't wait to find out more about this mystery!

DC Rebirth was a breath of fresh air for DC fans. After Flashpoint had rebooted the entire DC Universe with the New 52, fans thought they'd never see the old continuity again. But it happened, with the DC Rebirth one-shot issue reincorporating the old DC Universe into the New 52, with a mystery behind the whole initiative. Written by Geoff Johns, one of DC's most beloved writers, the issue really tells the story of a forgotten hero trying to make his way home; Wally West. A fan favorite character as both the original Kid Flash and later The Flash, this version of the character had been missing for years. The comic is told mostly from his perspective as he traverses the earth visiting his old friends trying to get back. Along the way, new storylines are set up, and the mystery behind the New 52 begins to reveal itself. Four separate artists worked on this issue, Gary Frank, Ethan Van Sciver, and Ivan Reis, and Phil Jimenez. Their work is all good and very similar. I say this, because the first time I read this I didn't notice. This comic is great, showcasing the best the DC Universe has to offer. The actual book is well made as well. Though I don't feel qualified to say this is a must read for DC Comics fans, it's definitely worth considering.5/5

This book is amazing! It takes place after Final Days of Superman storyline and is Wally West/Kid Flash-centric. Rebirth is a soft reboot that covers some plot holes in new 52, recaps Modern age stories while introduces new stories for the new Rebirth comic book runs. It bridges the gap amongst DC series and offers a nice easter egg of Watchmen which are the main focus in Doomsday Clock, in which you haven't read yet, has been a little slow in setting up but is good. I think everyone is ready for the big reveal of Dr. Manhattan facing off against the Justice League.
